On May 20th, the 2nd Guangdong Stainless Steel Brand Quality Development Conference in 2026, hosted by the Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association, was successfully held in Foshan. Guan Xiangming, a member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Guangdong Federation of Industry and Commerce, attended the event and delivered a speech. Wu Ya, Director of the Office of the Guangdong Federation of Industry and Commerce, Li Weixiang, a fourth-level researcher of the Fifth Division of the Social Work Department of the Guangdong Provincial Committee, Yan Qinghua, a member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Foshan Federation of Industry and Commerce, Li Gang, Deputy Director of the Interview Department of the People's Daily Guangdong Branch, Liang Hong, General Manager of Guangdong Yuehua, Chen Shanheng, Deputy General Manager of Guangdong Weilian Changcheng, Lin Baikun, General Manager of Guangdong Changhua Haiyi, Xu Zhihua, Technical Director of Shenzhen Minle, Dai Lei, Chief Engineer of Foshan Chengde, Sun Huirong, Deputy Secretary-General of Foshan Reihui, Zhong Guohong, Deputy Secretary-General of Guangdong Xin Hongxiu, He Anjie, Deputy General Manager of Guangdong Liumu Stainless Steel, Wang Lina, Deputy Manager of Guangdong Shichuang, Xu Shunbin, Deputy Manager of Guangdong Shicong, and Qiu Zeyu, Manager of Guangdong Jin Hua Hua Bang Group, all 80 member representatives from Foshan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shantou, Jiangmen, Maoming, Zhaoqing, Yangjiang, Yunfu, Dongguan and other places, attended the event. 

Leadership Speech 

Guangdong Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce's member representative and secretary-general, Guan Xiangming, highly affirmed the work of the Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association. He stated that the stainless steel industry is a vivid illustration of the active development of private economy and the deep foundation of industrial activities in our province. It is not only a traditional manufacturing industry but also a characteristic advantageous industry with scale advantages, competitive advantages and brand influence, and has been included in the strategic pillar industrial cluster of advanced materials. The provincial Party committee and government firmly promote "manufacturing as the main focus", and regard high-end stainless steel as a key area for cultivating advanced materials, laying out industrial clusters worth hundreds of billions in Foshan and Yangjiang, promoting the transformation of the stainless steel industry towards high-end, intelligent and green. It can be said that the overall improvement of the private economy has provided fertile development soil for the stainless steel industry; and the high-quality leap of the stainless steel industry is a concentrated manifestation of the vitality of the private economy. Currently, the industry is in a critical period of transformation and upgrading and brand repositioning, with broad prospects. Secretary-General Guan Xiangming put forward five hopes: First, recognize the overall trend of the times, firmly hold the confidence for development, and stabilize the direction of the industry's progress; second, seize the opportunities of science and technology, activate the innovation engine, and create an industrial upgrading benchmark; third, deepen the foundation of quality, polish the brand card, and consolidate the competitive advantages in the market; fourth, broaden the perspective of openness, focus on product exports, and expand the global development space; fifth, practice social responsibilities, help coordinated development, and write a chapter of win-win and shared benefits. 

President's Address 

President Lin Zeyu expressed his sincere gratitude to the provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Provincial Committee of Social Work Department for their concern and support for the work of the Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association and the active participation of all member representatives. He stated that in the future competition among stainless steel enterprises, it is a comprehensive contest of "hard power" and "soft power". No matter how fierce the competition is, quality must not be compromised, and the brand cannot be abandoned. He called on members and enterprises along the industrial chain to adhere to the original intention of the brand, the bottom line of quality, the principle of long-termism, and the principle of good quality and good price. 

President Lin Zeyu stated that when all parties work together, the outcome will be remarkable. The "Unstainless Premium Products - Made in Guangdong Quality" industrial IP requires the joint efforts of the association and its members to polish it. We look forward to all parties working together to tell the story of stainless steel, promote the stainless steel brand, introduce stainless steel premium products, and make the industrial IP popular and the member enterprises shine. We hope that the high-quality stainless steel products and excellent brands from Guangdong can be seen by more people and trusted by more users.

Li Ji-hui, a National People's Congress representative, a director of the Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association, and the general manager of Yangjiang Baixi Group, delivered a captivating speech titled "Building a Respected Brand Enterprise" as a representative of stainless steel entrepreneurs. What constitutes a respected enterprise? General Manager Li Ji-hui, drawing on the practical experience of Yangjiang Baixi Group, provided a clear answer from four perspectives: At least four aspects need to be considered. First, with the dedication of "ten years of hard work to make one sword", forge the "steel" quality (quality) that can withstand market and time tests; second, with gratitude like "never forgetting the person who dug the well when drinking water", root in the land that nurtures you and sincerely give back to it (responsibility); third, with the responsibility of "performing duties for the country and fulfilling responsibilities for the people", integrate the enterprise's development into national strategies and speak out for the industry and the people (duty fulfillment); fourth, with the courage to "set a trend for the industry", dare to use innovation (including model innovation and cultural innovation) to inject unique soul and charm into the brand (leadership). General Manager Li Ji-hui stated that quality is the foundation, responsibility is the bloodline, duty fulfillment is the framework, and culture is the soul. Only when these four elements are integrated can a brand that is not only strong but also worthy of respect be achieved.

Launch ceremony 

At the meeting, the Guangdong Stainless Steel Brand Quality Talent Public Welfare Training Program was launched. In the next three years, the Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association plans to conduct 150 rounds of public welfare and targeted training for quality management talents in the Guangdong stainless steel industry. 

Quality is the lifeblood of an enterprise, and brand is its face.
