In May, the weather is warm, and we pay tribute to the hard work. Crafting dreams with great care, not letting the precious time pass in vain. 

During the recent "May Day" holiday, the streets and alleys of Wuzhou were filled with cheerful sounds. Citizens and tourists were fully enjoying their pleasant holiday time. However, there was a group of workers who chose to stay at their workplaces instead of spending time with their families. They were working in the noisy workshops, bustling on the busy streets, and guarding by the operating tables where lives were being saved and healed... They interpreted responsibility with their sweat and depicted the most beautiful scenery of Wuzhou's "May Day" with their ordinary yet steadfast dedication. 

On May 1st, the Guangxi-Guangdong Cultural Tourism Carnival was being held in Wuzhou Arcade City. To ensure the smooth operation of the event, Zhu Chaohua, a senior operator of the Distribution Line Cable Team of Wanxiu Power Supply Branch of Guangxi Power Grid Wuzhou Power Supply Bureau, carried equipment and meticulously conducted power supply equipment inspection and temperature measurement work. During the entire May Day holiday, Wanxiu District achieved "zero tripping" of power supply equipment. 

When the "Sihai Maman" sunset party market in the Si Zhou Island Ecotourism Area was bustling with people, the front-line police officers and auxiliary police officers from Changzhou Police Station and Changzhou Special Patrol Team of Wuzhou Public Security Bureau were patrolling together among the crowd. As the police lights flashed, they brought a strong sense of security to the citizens and tourists with their orderly steps. 

As a Party member, Ye Weijian, a driver of Wuzhou Urban Construction Public Transport Co., Ltd., spent his holidays in the driver's cabin. He was driving the No. 16 bus, smoothly and safely navigating through the streets and alleys of Wuzhou. Every stop and every start was providing services for the smooth travel of the citizens. 

On May 1st, the team led by Dr. Li Hailin from the Gastrointestinal Surgery Department of Wuzhou People's Hospital quickly assembled and urgently performed a gastric perforation repair surgery for an emergency patient. With their superb medical skills and the most ordinary yet unwavering dedication, they safeguarded the health of the citizens. 

During the May Day holiday, Jin Lejian, the production vice-general manager of Guangxi Wuzhou Jinhai Stainless Steel Co., Ltd., set an example by giving up his rest time and leading the workers in the workshop to stay at the production front line. In the noisy workshop, he commanded with composure and used his actions to vividly demonstrate the worker's essence of "labour is the most glorious". 

During the May Day holiday, Chen Weijie, a delivery rider at Meituan Wuzhou Meixi Station, was bustling through the streets and alleys. In order to deliver each meal to customers as quickly as possible, he raced against time, disregarding the weather and going wherever it was necessary. With his running, he conveyed the convenience of life and the warmth of the city. 

Even during the holidays, the postal service has never been disrupted. Deng Jianhua from the Hexi Collection and Delivery Department of Wuzhou Branch of China Post Group was still busily sorting, loading and delivering packages during the holiday. With his simple labor, he ensured the smoothness of logistics during the festive period. 

During the holiday period, Jiangbin Weijing International Hotel witnessed a peak in visitor flow. In the kitchen, comprehensive technicians Deng Zhiwei and Lu Zhiming remained steadfast, promptly maintaining the equipment of the six-head stove in the open kitchen of the restaurant, ensuring the safe and orderly operation of the kitchen; while in the restaurant, waitress Pan Xiaoru provided the most considerate service to protect guests' dining time. Her sincere smile on her face was the warmest "Wuzhou card" conveyed to every visitor. 

Labor creates happiness, and hard work achieves great achievements. Every figure holding firm is the most beautiful scenery during this holiday. They come from different industries, but they share the same choice - giving up their own families for the sake of the greater good, and using their hard work to serve society and the people. They are the epitome of the millions of workers in Wuzhou, and are an indispensable force for the normal operation of this city.
