On December 26, 2025, the Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association held the "Anchor New, Move Good -2025 Guangdong Stainless Steel Industry Annual Conference" grandly at the Crowne Plaza Foshan Hotel. Over 420 people, including government leaders, member colleagues, and expert representatives, gathered together to discuss development.

Work Report

The conference heard and approved the annual work report delivered by Secretary-General Huang Gengyan of the association on behalf of the council and President Lin Zeyu. In her report, she comprehensively summarized and reported on the new efforts and achievements made by the Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association in the past year in areas such as Party building leadership, serving the government and enterprises, improving the standard system, creating industrial ips, connecting and developing members, promoting supply and demand matching, advancing brand and quality construction, and participating in the "Hundred-Thousand-Million" project. She also proposed the association's work plan for 2026.

Awarding ceremony

The conference presented plaques to the new corporate member units, council units and member units of the Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association in the fourth quarter of 2025.

In 2025, the Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association successfully released four group standards, namely "Stainless Steel Welded Pipes for HVAC Water Systems", "Technical Code for Installation of Stainless Steel Pipes for HVAC Water Systems", "Code for Passivation of Stainless Steel Pipes for Drinking Water", and "Guide for Selection of Surface Treatment Processes for Stainless Steel Water Pipes". The conference presented plaques and certificates to the drafting units, drafters and reviewers of the standards.

To further serve the creation of highly reputable and cost-effective stainless steel enterprises and products in Guangdong, and to guide the strengthening of enterprises, industries, brands and competitiveness through high-quality products, the Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association has specially integrated the forces of well-known professional institutions such as quality inspection, scientific research, standards and quality management. The conference presented plaques to the "Quality Strengthening Industry" service partners of the Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association.

To guide and encourage members to attach importance to brand quality construction and continuously shape and enhance the industrial IP of "Stainless Steel Quality Products, Guangdong Quality Manufacturing", the conference held the launch ceremony of the public welfare evaluation for the selected enterprises of "Stainless Steel Quality Products, Guangdong Quality Manufacturing". The members of the leadership team of the Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association jointly launched the event on stage.

President's Speech

President Lin Zeyu expressed his sincere gratitude to the leaders at all levels, experts and fellow members who have long cared about and supported the work of the association. He said that in 2025, the industry had gone through a smokeless war: low-price competition, and everyone was having a hard time. In 2026, the association will continue to strive to do more work within its capacity and in line with the needs of its members. Zhang Jiaji, a member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and vice chairperson of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, extended warm congratulations on the holding of the 2025 Guangdong Stainless Steel Industry Annual Conference and sincere greetings to all members in a video speech. He pointed out that under the leadership of President Lin Zeyu, the third council of the Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association has, over the past two years, focused on political guidance, a sense of the overall situation, accurate responsibility positioning, and achieved good work results, which have been fully recognized and supported by the majority of members.

Zhang Hongbin, the full-time vice chairperson of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, on behalf of the provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Provincial Chamber of Commerce, extended warm congratulations on the holding of the annual meeting and highly praised the work of the association. He stated that over the past year, under the leadership of President Lin Zeyu, the association has focused on the major decisions and plans of the provincial Party committee and the provincial government, leveraged its own advantages, delved deeply into industry services, actively built platforms for industrial exchanges, cooperation and coordinated development, contributed to the high-quality development of the industry, and made industry contributions to the economic and social development of Guangdong. As a "Four Good" chamber of commerce recognized by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, the association has been successfully selected as an outstanding case of "Four Good" Chamber of commerce construction in Guangdong Province this year. It has also been jointly recommended by the Provincial Department of Justice and the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce as a provincial-level administrative law enforcement supervision contact point for enterprises. The work is commendable and the achievements are gratifying.

At the New Year's Eve dinner and the Jinhai Hongyi Night, Wang Wenhui, vice president and president of Guangdong Jinhai Huichuang Group, delivered a passionate toast. He sincerely thanked the Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association for its guidance and empowerment, as well as the trust and companionship of his customer friends. Mr. Wang stated that over the years, the association has always kept the development of the stainless steel industry in mind.
