The Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China pointed out that efforts should be made to focus on the real economy in developing the economy and adhere to the directions of intelligence, greenness and integration. In the Wuzhou Changzhou Stainless Steel Products Industrial Park, this concept is being transformed into the practice of the stainless steel industry's transformation. The park is promoting enterprises to carry out energy-saving renovations and recycling, replacing the traditional high-energy-consuming model with green new driving forces, and thus forging a new path of high-quality development.

In the production workshop of Wuzhou Jinhai Stainless Steel Co., LTD., rolls of silver-white steel are smoothly flowing on the conveyor belt, and the sound of the rolling mill running is continuous. Outside the workshop, a row of brand-new new energy heavy-duty trucks are all set to go, about to send the products to all parts of the country. The commissioning of this batch of new energy vehicles not only represents an upgrade in transportation methods but also serves as a microcosm of the enterprise's green transformation. To achieve the goal of green transformation, Jinhai Stainless Steel has recently invested 150 million yuan to fully launch the ultra-low emission renovation project, establishing an integrated system of "source control - process governance - intelligent supervision". In the steel rolling workshop, the waste heat recovery system reuses the previously wasted thermal energy, saving nearly one million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually. It is reported that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the enterprise also invested 1 billion yuan to build the Jinhai 1.2 million tons stainless steel solid solution and products green production line project. Among them, the waste acid regeneration system has made the acid liquid recycling rate exceed 95%. The green concept permeates every aspect of production.

The green transformation of the Changzhou Stainless Steel Products Industrial Park is not confined to a single enterprise. Yongda Steel, Xinfeng Special Steel and other enterprises are simultaneously promoting ultra-low emission renovations. In recent years, Changzhou District has provided full-process guidance for enterprises to save energy and reduce emissions through a "point-to-point" service mechanism. From the comprehensive utilization of solid waste, the recycling of energy, to the promotion of new energy transportation, "green" is systematically built into the core competitiveness of the park's development. Up to now, there are already 4 Guangxi Green factories and 1 national-level green factory here, and it has been successfully recognized as a national-level green industrial park.
