Nearly 600 people attended this conference, including representatives from relevant departments of provincial, municipal and district governments at all levels, representatives from sister institutions both within and outside the province, representatives from the business community, members of the Alumni Development Fund Council and alumni representatives, current and retired members of the school's Party and administrative leadership, as well as representatives of the school's faculty and students. The meeting was presided over by Huang Zhiquan, the deputy secretary of the school's Party committee.​
