On October 19th, the first China "2025 Recycled New Materials Conference" and the Investment Promotion and Talent Attraction Symposium for the Recycled New Materials Industry in Wuzhou City opened in Wuzhou. Seven academicians from China and abroad, over 1,200 experts, scholars and business guests gathered by the Xijiang River. Jiang Liansheng said in his speech that Wuzhou City has been committed to the goal of "rebuilding an industrial Wuzhou", continuously promoting the agglomeration and development of industries, and has initially established a development pattern of five pillar industries: recycled new materials, high-end metal new materials, building materials, food and medicine, and photovoltaic electronics. The CPC Wuzhou Municipal Committee and the Wuzhou Municipal Government have been unwaveringly promoting the strengthening of leading enterprises, the supplementation of industrial chains, and the aggregation of industrial clusters in the recycled new materials industry. As a result, a complete industrial cluster of recycled new materials has been formed. By 2024, the industrial output value is expected to reach 63.3 billion yuan, becoming an important engine driving the economic development of the entire city. The market demand for the recycled new materials industry is huge and its development prospects are broad. At the opening ceremony, academicians and chief scientists in the field of recycled new materials, Wang Yuzhong, Zhu Meifang, Chu Shuangjie and Wu Gaohui, respectively delivered keynote speeches, sharing authoritative views on the cutting-edge technologies, development trends and innovation directions of the industry. The opening ceremony also launched the "Wisdom Gathering in Guangxi - High-level Experts' Tour of Guangxi (Wuzhou)" event, and held the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement between the Wuzhou Municipal People's Government and the Chinese Materials Research Society, as well as the unveiling ceremony of the Wuzhou Collaborative Innovation Center for Recycled New Materials of the Chinese Materials Research Society. Several investment promotion projects for the recycled new materials industry were signed on the spot. According to statistics, a total of 10 projects were signed at this conference across the city, with a total investment of 7.63 billion yuan.
