Wuzhou's recycled steel industry focuses on recycled stainless steel. Relying on the Changzhou Stainless Steel Products Industrial Park, it gathers three leading enterprises, Jinhai, Yongda and Xinfeng, to form a complete industrial chain from scrap steel recycling to high-end products.

During the exchange, representatives of enterprises freely discussed the new achievements in the development of the recycled steel industry in our city and shared new opportunities.

Wang Wenhui, the president of Jinhai Stainless Steel Co., LTD., shared his development experiences from the perspective of the enterprise, saying, "Whether it is raw material guarantee, product variety, or transportation convenience, Wuzhou has unique advantages." We look forward to continuing to work hand in hand with Wuzhou City to adhere to the blueprint to the end, extend the downstream industrial chain, and promote the industry to move towards high-end, intelligent and green directions.

At the forum, Professor Li Jing from University of Science and Technology Beijing conducted an in-depth analysis on the topic of "short-process intelligent steelmaking" that enterprises are concerned about. He pointed out, "The core of short-process intelligent steelmaking is to achieve cost optimization and quality stability through technological upgrading." At present, the focus should be on addressing the issue of quality fluctuations in scrap steel. Starting from the refined classification of raw materials, precise proportioning should be achieved, and the research and application of automated equipment should be strengthened to reduce manual intervention.

In response to the differentiated development of the park, Professor Long Hongming from Anhui University of Technology put forward constructive suggestions: "The Changzhou Stainless Steel Park should integrate carbon peaking and carbon neutrality into the entire process of industrial development and build a digital and intelligent energy carbon management and control center." Develop distributed photovoltaic and biomass energy to enhance energy utilization efficiency; Focus on deep decarbonization, develop artificial intelligence, and track innovative carbon reduction technologies; Make full use of the existing resource advantages to achieve maximum benefits.

This forum not only showcased the development achievements of Wuzhou's recycled steel industry, but also pointed out the direction for its future development. Business representatives all expressed their hope that under the dual impetus of policy guidance and market demand, mutual benefit and win-win results could be achieved.
