On July 18th, a special event on empowering the development of metallurgy and resource recycling industries with artificial intelligence was held in our city. This event is one of the "100 Roadshows" series of industrial Internet activities in Guangxi, aiming to promote the in-depth integration of new-generation information technology with local pillar industries and the empowerment of artificial intelligence for the transformation and upgrading of key industries.

During the event, representatives from several enterprises including Guangxi Jinhai Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. and Wuzhou Branch of China United Network Communications Co., Ltd. focused on the metallurgical and resource recycling industries, sharing their practical experiences and intelligent upgrade solutions in the field of artificial intelligence. Enterprise representatives all expressed that this event not only provided a valuable learning opportunity, allowing them to draw on advanced experiences in empowering industrial development with artificial intelligence, laying a solid foundation and offering solutions for their future intelligent transformation, but also built an effective communication bridge, promoting exchanges among enterprises in terms of cooperation and collaborative innovation in artificial intelligence technology.

Li Yuanli, the IT information manager of Guangxi Wuzhou Jinhai Stainless Steel Co., LTD., said, "We have also conducted some fundamental research in the field of artificial intelligence, including data governance, and have achieved considerable success." By using some open-source products, the company has carried out data governance internally and also utilized some open-source models to build an enterprise-level knowledge base and workflow on our own. Next, we plan to purchase computing power and effectively promote these artificial intelligence applications that have completed technical verification to various departments and branch factories for use."

Huang Guangli, the deputy general manager of Wuzhou Branch of China United Network Communications Co., LTD., said, "China Unicom is aggregating integrated capabilities and establishing a steel army to empower the local economy with the capabilities of the Steel Army." By using the Internet of Things to monitor daily equipment, it helps enterprises to be greener in environmental monitoring. Through China Unicom's industrial brain, it helps to enhance the energy-saving and consumption-reducing functions of the entire production and manufacturing process."

This event is hosted by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of the Autonomous Region, organized by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of the City and the Guangxi Industrial Internet Industry Alliance, and supported by six enterprises as co-organizers. The holding of such special events is of vital importance for accelerating the deep integration of new-generation information technologies such as artificial intelligence and industrial Internet with the metallurgical industry in Wuzhou. By promoting the in-depth integration of artificial intelligence and advanced manufacturing technologies, the quality and level of industrial development in Wuzhou will be effectively enhanced, providing strong support for the autonomous region to accelerate the advancement of new industrialization and develop new quality productive forces.
