On July 1st, in the workshop of the 1 million-ton high-end stainless steel products deep processing project of Hongyi New Materials located in the High-tech Zone of the Guangdong-Guangxi Cooperation Pilot Zone, in the spacious space supported by the grey steel structure, the eye-catching orange-red equipment lined up like giants, quietly waiting to be activated. A red truck fully loaded with production equipment was already in position. Workers, wearing helmets and holding remote controls, operated the overhead crane suspended in mid-air to safely deliver the production equipment parts that had just arrived at the factory to the installation site.

"This truckload of equipment is already the second-to-last truckload of auxiliary mechanical equipment for our continuous rolling line. Currently, 95% of the equipment for the cold acid line has been in place, and 90% for the continuous rolling line." " Xiao Yonggang, the factory director of Hongyi New Materials Project, introduced that the project is currently undergoing installation and commissioning in full swing and has completed 90% of the total progress. Judging from the current progress, it is expected to be put into production in August this year.

The Hongyi New Materials Project is a key project in our city aimed at filling the gap in the deep processing of high-end stainless steel products and accelerating the extension of the stainless steel industry to the downstream product and application ends. This project will build an intelligent and efficient production line, which can drive the agglomeration and development of downstream industries in our city. After commissioning, it will have an annual deep processing capacity of 1 million tons of stainless steel and an annual output value of over 10 billion yuan.

Workers are each performing their duties, quietly building up strength and providing strong support for the subsequent production. At present, over 800 workers are working simultaneously on the construction site. Under the premise of ensuring safe construction, they are striving to catch up with the schedule and aim to complete the project beyond the planned time. Xiao Yonggang said that at present, the weather is very hot. The project adopts a staggered construction method to avoid the high-temperature period as much as possible, so that workers can complete the construction tasks better and more efficiently.

At the installation site of the laser welding machine on the continuous rolling line of this project, two workers were seen gathered around a control box, connecting the production equipment's circuits to the control system. I'm from Wuhan and have just arrived in Wuzhou for a few days. I'm mainly responsible for the installation of some equipment for the project. Worker Zhang Huan said that in order to prevent heatstroke and cool down, the project owner has equipped the project site with multiple high-power electric fans.
