This event, themed "Joyful Work in Wuzhou, Talent Shines in Xijiang", aims to break down the information barriers between schools and enterprises through on-site visits, technical experiences and enterprise presentations, allowing students to gain a deeper understanding of the technological strength and development prospects of local leading enterprises. At the same time, it aims to precisely supply talents to Jinhai Stainless Steel and assist Jinhai in building a "dark factory".

Visit the workshop

Under the guidance and introduction of young engineers from Jinhai Stainless Steel (former students of Wuzhou Vocational College, who have now become technical backbones in various workshops of Jinhai Stainless Steel), the teachers and students visited the hot rolling workshop, the centralized control center and the pickling workshop in sequence.

In the hot rolling workshop, the 1050mm stainless steel full continuous rolling green production line is the most advanced stainless steel production line in the industry. The red and running steel strips in the rolling mill touch the heart. The intelligent production site has completely changed the stereotypical perception of teachers and students that traditional manufacturing is "hard, dirty and tiring"!

As a benchmark scenario for the intelligent transformation of enterprises, the full-process digital control system of the hot rolling centralized control center has amazed the students continuously. Through the real-time display of process parameters, equipment status and production data on the large screen, students can directly experience how digital and intelligent technologies empower traditional manufacturing industries to improve quality and efficiency.

In the new pickling workshop, apart from the fully automatic solid solution production line, the display of the environmentally friendly waste acid regeneration system has also dispelled the stereotype of some students that traditional manufacturing industries are "highly polluting".

After the visit to the workshop, all the personnel watched the enterprise documentaries "Impression of Jinhai" and "How Steel Is Tempered" in the Jinhai Auditorium. From "Jinhai Manufacturing" to "Jinhai Intelligent Manufacturing", Jinhai has spent a full 26 years exploring! The film presents Jinhai's leapfrog development from traditional manufacturing to a smart factory from a grand perspective in a three-dimensional way, conveying the enterprise spirit of "A lifetime, one thing, keep doing it, and you will surely succeed", which deeply touched the teachers and students present.

Subsequently, Director Pu from the Human Resources Department conducted the 2025 Jinhai Stainless Steel Campus Recruitment presentation. He elaborated on the enterprise strategy, talent demand, training system and career development channels, emphasizing Jinhai's management goals of "professionalization of talents, digitalization of management and branding of products". Currently, Jinhai is booming and has a strong demand for professionals in mechanical automation, electrical engineering, intelligent manufacturing and other fields.
