On November 12, the opening ceremony of the 3rd Cheung Chau Sports Meeting and National Fitness Games was successfully held. Vice Mayor Su Ying, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Municipal Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau Feng Jianzhong, Secretary of the Changzhou District Party Committee Tao Guoming, Deputy Secretary of the Changzhou District Party Committee and District Director Yang Zhengpei, Director of the Changzhou District People's Congress Xie Yuansheng, Chairman of the Changzhou District CPPCC Zuo Shengxian, Secretary of the Party Committee of Wuzhou Vocational College Shi Wei, General Manager of Wuzhou Xinfeng Special Steel Co., LTD Zheng Baoming, General manager of Wuzhou Yongda Steel Group Jin Yingchun, Li Juan, chairman of Guangxi Wuzhou Jinhai Stainless Steel Co., LTD., Su Zhixin, Party committee member and deputy director of Wuzhou Rural Credit Cooperative Association, and LAN Weidong, vice principal of Wuzhou Senior High School attended the opening ceremony.

On behalf of the four teams of Cheung Chau District, Tao Guoming extended warm congratulations on the smooth opening of the games.  We will focus on implementing a series of key projects such as Jingui Fuwanjia and Xijiang Gulangyu, and vigorously promote the integrated development of the sports, cultural and tourism industries. It is hoped that all the athletes will carry forward the spirit of unity and perseverance, show their friendship, style and level, and fully show the spirit of the people of Cheung Chau.

At the opening ceremony, the 13 teams participating in the games shouted loud slogans and walked into the venue with vigor. Their steps were sonorous and energetic, fully demonstrating the spirit of the broad masses of cadres and people in Changzhou District.

With the warm applause and cheers of the audience, the opening ceremony performance was officially kicked off. The performance was divided into four chapters: Inspiring Cheung Chau, Happy Cheung Chau, Dynamic Cheung Chau and Striving Cheung Chau. Each chapter featured distinctive features, changing passionate shapes, colorful stage effects, and a huge cast of actors... Eleven programs full of the flavor of The Times and regional characteristics made a wonderful debut, covering various performance forms such as singing and dancing, Tai chi fan, street dance, Latin dance, lion dance, etc., comprehensively displaying the new era and new style of the economic and social development of our district, which has entered a new era and marched towards a new journey, and the people's life is happy, and the society is stable and peaceful. It has brought a down-to-earth, emotional and vigorous audio-visual art enjoyment to the people of the whole district.

Chapter One: Inspiring Cheung Chau

Drumming bursts, strive for the upper reaches, show the style of Changzhou. Unite and work hard, move forward courageously, and raise the dragon boat spirit. The song and dance "Cheer Up Cheung Chau" kicked off the grand event of the Games, showing the people of Cheung Chau holding the dream of winning gold. The actors waved the striving OARS, braved the wind and waves, and built the Chinese Dream together.

Chapter Two: Happy Cheung Chau

Drums sound red heart to the party, forge ahead and soar. The performances of "Drum and Rhyme" and "Young People with Aspirations" brought by the children are full of youth and vitality, which vividly shows the vigorous and upward heroism and smart charm of the Chinese young people, confirming the truth that "young people are wise, and young people are strong, and the country is strong".

Chapter 3: Dynamic Cheung Chau

In the "Tai Chi Fan" program, performers dressed in costumes, calmly stretch their limbs, graceful and neat movements, like flowing clouds, slow and continuous. Every movement is round and coherent, and every move is relaxed, deducing the charm of Tai Chi and showing the healthy style. Hip-hop dance "Happy Fantasy", Latin dance "Young Chinese Dream", gymnastics "the ninth set of Radio gymnastics" and other programs, let people feel sometimes passionate and full of youthful vitality, and sometimes melodic and full of vitality, the chapter of all ages set off the climax of the whole style exhibition, a comprehensive display of the spirit and results of the national sports in Cheung Chau.

Chapter Four: Advancing Cheung Chau

The lion dance is an auspicious, festive and lively activity. Accompanied by the rhythm of drums, a group of agile "little lions" staged a group of lion congratulation, sometimes shaking their heads and wagging their tails, sometimes naughty blinking, sometimes jumping happily, sometimes playing and fighting. The exquisite lion dance skills fully demonstrated the hard-working, brave, fighting and confident spirit of the people of Cheung Chau. The dance "All the Way Flowers" shows the spirit of Changzhou stainless steel enterprise workers in the new era, with dedication and efforts to create a new world of stainless steel enterprises, with steel backbone, support the mission. The song and dance "Happy Writing Answer Book" was created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Cheung Chau District. The lyrics are beautiful and the melody is beautiful, singing the persistence and belief of Cheung Chau District to serve the people wholeheartedly. We are full of expectations and confidence in the future, and keep moving forward to meet new challenges and opportunities. Finally, the opening ceremony came to a close with the chorus "Ode to the Motherland", and the audience sang loudly with the familiar melody waving red flags in their hands.

After the opening ceremony, a fierce tug of war was held immediately, and the leaders and guests who participated in the activity watched the game and felt the fun of health sports together.
