On November 3, the starting ceremony of the first National Student (youth) Games torch relay Wuzhou Station was held in the archway of the Arcade City. Party chief Jiang Liansheng lit the torch and announced the start of the relay at Wuzhou station. Huang Zhongxian, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, and Huang Zhenrao, chairman of the Municipal CPPCC attended the ceremony.

On the morning of the day, the atmosphere of the torch relay was warm, and the public waved red flags and looked forward to it. At 9:30, the torch relay Wuzhou station starting ceremony began. The national anthem of the People's Republic of China was played and sung. In the audience's eager anticipation, the fire guard stepped in a neat step, drew the fire and lit the cauldron. Jiang Liansheng stepped forward to welcome the torch and lit the torch from the cauldron, showed greetings to the audience and handed the torch to the first torchbearer. Then, Jiang Liansheng announced: "The People's Republic of China first student (youth) Games torch relay Wuzhou station start!" Suddenly, the scene a boiling, youthful vitality excited. Amid the applause and cheers of the audience, the first torchbearer took off with the torch and began the torch relay.

Wang Dongming, Standing Committee member of the CPC Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor, addressed the ceremony. He said that the torch relay of the School Youth Association in Wuzhou is not only a beautiful encounter between the School Youth Association and the people of Wuzhou, but also a beautiful display of the beautiful scenery and economic and social development achievements of Wuzhou, which will certainly let more young people know about sports and fall in love with sports, let more people know about Wuzhou and fall in love with Wuzhou, and add strong momentum to accelerate the construction of "one pole and three cities" and "four Wuzhou".  Strive to "run a youth, unity, friendship of the sports event" to contribute to Wuzhou strength.

The torch relay route in Wuzhou is 3,000 meters long, starting from the archway of the city of Xuanlou, passing through the former site of the Guangxi Special Committee of the Communist Party of China, Wuzhou No. 1 Middle School and other transmission points, and finally collecting the fire in the embankment section of Xidi Park, Xinhua Road exit, a total of 30 torchbearers participated in the relay. From the century-old arcade to the Vitality Park, the torch relay route shows the diversified features of Wuzhou's "millennium ancient city", "century-old commercial port" and "red cradle", fully demonstrating the deep heritage of red Wuzhou, the harmonious beauty of green Wuzhou, and the entrepreneurial passion of Wuzhou people to "stand at the top of the tide and compete for the upper reaches".

On the same day, after the torch reached the end of the line, a ceremony was held to collect the fire.

 Ring Wuzhou urban red sports tourism route has become one of the top ten high-quality sports tourism routes in China. The Guangxi Wuzhou Sports Training base, which hosted the women's football match of the School Youth Association (women's open group and university campus women's group), is one of the three major football training bases in China and one of the youth football training bases of the Chinese Football Association, and is known as the "cradle of stars" of Chinese football.

Huang En, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Committee and Minister of the Publicity Department, presided over the starting ceremony, Wen Feng, deputy mayor of the Municipal Committee, attended the fire control ceremony, and the main responsible persons of the relevant units of the city, as well as representatives of cadres and workers, representatives of teachers and students of primary and secondary schools, and media reporters attended the ceremony.
