On January 7, Liugang CICC held the handover ceremony of "End of Three-Year Performance Commitment Period" and the 2021 Orientation Activities. Gan Guiping, deputy secretary of the party committee, vice chairman and general manager of Liugang Group, attended the event and released balloons symbolizing love and dreams together with cadres and employees, wishing CICC a better and better development.

From 2018 to 2020, it is the performance commitment period of Liugang Group and the old CICC. During this period, Liugang CICC has successfully completed all the indicators and tasks of the three-year commitment period. In 2021, Liugang Group will officially take over CICC.

At the ceremony, Gan Guiping, on behalf of Liugang Group, first expressed his gratitude to all the cadres and employees of CICC for their hard work over the past three years.

He said that CICC is an important "one wing" of the group's "one body and two wings" steel development map, and Liugang Group fully supports the continuous development and growth of CICC. CICC will speed up the construction according to the plan of 5 million tons of stainless steel and 5 million tons of high-quality carbon steel base, and comprehensively upgrade the old system, and strive to build CICC into an important stainless steel production base in southern China in the next few years. It is hoped that all the cadres and employees of CICC will strengthen their beliefs, unite as one, work solidly, highlight the main line of "accelerating the construction of ferronickel smelting projects", carry out the standardization construction of production system safety and quality, strengthen production technology research, and achieve "one core three three" in Guangxi's metallurgical industry. Under the big layout of "Bringing Nine Bases" and the group company's coastal strategy, we will make every effort to build and develop CICC well, and contribute the wisdom and strength of CICC people to the group company's early entry into the world's top 500.

At the ceremony, Luo Qingge, secretary of the party committee and chairman of Liugang CICC, and Li Juan, the former chairman of CICC delivered speeches respectively, and handed over the company's account books and official seal.

Luo Qingge said that during the "three-year performance commitment period", all CICC people stood together through thick and thin, and achieved remarkable results with passion, sweat and wisdom, laying a solid foundation for the high-quality development of CICC. 2021 is the first year of the "14th Five-Year Plan" and the first year that CICC's ferronickel smelting project is put into operation. CICC will take the initiative to adapt to the new situation, focus on "a picture", weave a "net", develop a "game of chess", and take a "big step" to help Liugang Group continue to grow and develop.

Li Juan said that three years ago, CICC was fortunate to take the shuttle bus of a state-owned enterprise, and continued to grow and develop with the help of the excellent platform of Liugang Group. I wish Liugang CICC a more brilliant and splendid future.

Zeng Yao and Ren Jianguo, young employees of CICC, shared their work and life in CICC. They said that they would take root in CICC and continue to write a new chapter of development.

At the ceremony, a charity donation activity was also carried out. In October 2020, CICC launched a charity fundraising event for the injured and sick employees in difficulty, and the majority of cadres and employees actively extended a helping hand to the injured and sick employees and their families in difficulty. Leaders Gan Guiping donated the love money to the recipients, and encouraged them to strengthen their confidence, overcome the injury, recover quickly, and get out of the predicament.

In the subsequent orientation activities, leaders Gan Guiping came to the "I have an agreement with CICC" wish wall and wrote down their best wishes to CICC on the spot. I also visited the "My Story with CICC" photo wall to experience the development and changes of CICC.

Gan Guiping also participated in the tug-of-war competition with the cadres and employees of CICC. The team members clung to the long rope, thinking in one place, working hard in one place, and interpreting the power of unity with sweat and perseverance.

The event also held a lion dance performance, employee style display, chorus "Blind Date and Love One Family" and fun competitions.

Heads of Liugang Group Office, Disciplinary Inspection Team, Mechanical Engineering Department, Improvement Department, Quality Department, and relevant units of CICC participated in the event.
