(Summary description) In March 2022, the technical upgrading project of Jinhai Stainless Steel Workshop--Stainless Steel's first 4-machine 4-strand slab continuous casting machine was officially put into use!     Jinhai Stainless Steel R6.5m four-machine four-strand slab caster is the first four-strand slab caster in the domestic and even global stainless steel field. It is an industry innovation project jointly created by Jinhai Stainless and China Steel Federation. Another major project for the implementation of the strategy of "Keeping Upright Innovation, Smart Manufacturing Benefits".     Jinhai Stainless Steel R6.5m four-machine four-strand slab continuous casting machine, as the latest equipment in the global stainless steel field, the biggest feature of this equipment is that it adopts the latest steelmaking process technology. In the design of process equipment and facilities and the design of process parameters, more Efficient, more energy-saving and consumption-reducing, more environmentally friendly, truly realizing energy-saving and environmental protection, cost reduction and efficiency improvement. The machine can produce 200 series, 300 series and 400 series stainless steel with a basic radius of R6.5 meters, a billet specification of (150~160)*(490~830), and a billet length of 6~11m.     Jinhai Stainless Steel R6.5m four-machine four-strand slab continuous casting machine was successfully put into hot trial production, thanks to the leaders at all levels of Wuzhou Municipal Government for their care and support, thanks to the strategic partner China Steel Federation for their professionalism and dedication, and thanks to the Jinhai Tiejun No. 1 project team of continued struggle.
